Ace sat by the waters edge, looking out over the lake. It was a calm night, the stars reflecting on the lake water. It was April, the month that everything seemed to have gone wrong, the aniversery of her parent's death and her brother's death. April wasn't her month. It was now that she always got kind of homesick, homesick for a real home, a place where everything was well...normal. But she knew that was not meant to be. The sound of someone coming behind her roused her from her thoughts....

Tsuki walked into the clearing. Hi Ace! She said, sitting down next to the girl. Are you ok? She asked, her voice sounding concerned.

"Hey Tsuki," Ace said, glancing at her, a smile appearing on her face. "Yeah, I'm fine," she shook her head. "Just a lot of aniverserys come during the month of April, makes it kind of hard."

What kind of anniverseries? Tsuki asked, getting a sinking feeling that they were not good ones.

"Well, my brother died four years ago on April 10th. My parents died six years ago on April 14th." She sighed, starring out over the water. "As you can guess this isn't a very happy month."

Tsuki sighed. She had never known her parents, and she guessed it must have been hard for Ace to lose them. Oh, Tsuki said, trying to think of a way to cheer Ace up. This may be harder than I thought... Tsuki thought to herself as she tried to think of what she did when she was sad, but, she was never really sad so she had no clue what to do.

Ace glanced at her out of the corner of her eye. "What about you? Where's your family?"

I never knew my parents...they abandoned me when I was little. Tsuki said, sighing.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She turned back to the water. "Is that why you joined the Murders? You had no where else to go?"

I'm not in the Murder's, or the Fifty. I'm not sure which side I should join. Tsuki said, her bright eyes shining in the moon light.

"Good, your too nice to be a Murder," Ace said, smiling at her. "You know Mace would be glad to have ya."

Yeah, I was thinking about joining the Fifty, but I've got some good friends in the Murder's...I couldn't stand to fight them... Tsuki said, trailling off, lost in thought.

"Yeah, I understand. It was like that when the Murder's split away from the Fifty, everybody lost someone...."

They were one group? I didn't know that...why did they split?[/v] Tsuki asked, confused.

"Well, I wasn't here, when it happened, I was in a different division, but Mace told me about it. He wasn't leader at the time, but he was second in command. At first, the governement was after us, but that threat disappeared when democrocy returned. Then some of the Fifty got restless and there was a fight somewhere, like at a resturant or something. Some of the Fifty got in trouble and went to jail, just for a month, but that got some of the Fifty really mad and they went to break them out. They killed several guards. The leader was really mad, and he kicked them out. More of the Fifty went with them. They said they would get revenge on the Fifty for that, and they become the Murders."
