//Hope you don't mind if I RP in first person...?//
[Cujo:]
I slipped through the trees quietly, keeping to the shadows and darkest parts of the forest. I definitly didn't want to get caught out here; the area was probably crawling with members from the Fifty. I had been so intent on making sure it was hard for the human that was hunting me (even though I was human) to follow that I hadn't noticed I'd walked right into an open clearing. I dropped down into the long grass and held still, hoping nobody had seen me.
After what seemed like an eternity, though I'm sure was only minutes, I could hear the guy that was following me. I held my breath, hoping he wouldn't see me, or, worse yet, step on me. I didn't even consider moving; he would see the grass sway. I was stuck where I had dropped; I had to hope for the best.

Whitefire and her twin sister, Flameflower, and their kitten, Nightfire, walked through the forest. Nightfire playfully chased a butterfly, while Whitefire read a letter out loud. ...And so I'll be coming for a visit soon. I can't wait to see you guys again! My time in Japan has been great! Your best friend, Arashi. Syanora![sp?] "I can't wait for her to vist!! It's going to be great!!!" Flameflower exclaimed, grinning broadly. "'Who is Arashi?" Nightfire asked, pauseing from her chase

I heard a couple of young kids wander into the clearing. Cursing under my breath, I prayed the guy following me wouldn't try to kill them or, worse yet, capture them. I edged back out of the grass until I was beneath the canopy of trees again. Once under cover, I dashed around the clearing [staying in the shadows, of course] to where the two girls and a cat were. "Get over here," I hissed quietly, "Now!"

Whitefire and Flameflower jumped, while Nightfire growled. They came over, and had a feeling that they should be very quiet, though they didn't know why. Nightfire looked around, and slowly rose up into the air, until she was at eyelevel with the person. Who's following you? She asked through her mind.

The kid in front of me started to levitate. 'This stupid kid is going to get us killed...' I reached out to push her down to the ground again, but a voice stopped me.
Who's following you?
I blinked; the voice seemed to come from the girl. "Some human. He thinks I'm a mutator; he's an idiot." I spoke quietly, hoping that we were far enough away from the man that he wouldn't hear us. He was human, after all. 'Which doesn't necessarily mean he's harmless,' I thought, narrowing my eyes. "Stop levitating. You're going to get us caught." I crouched down so the bushes hid more of me than they had been before. The girls were shorter than I was by a good foot and a half; I wasn't too worried about him spotting them, though I was much taller and my light hair and eyes would stand out against the dark leaves and bushes of the forest.

I take that as an insult! I'm a CAT NOT A HUMAN! LET ALONE A KID!!! Do I look like a human you you?! Gawd! Nightfire THE CAT! asked in her mind link with the human.
Flameflower and Whitefire giggled. They could hear every word. "If you need a place to hide, then we can go to-" Whitefire began but was cut off when something grabbed her, and pulled her through the bushes. Pure terror was shown in her eyes.

The cat was talking. Great. I opened my mouth to respond to it's arrogant (and quite rude) comment when something grabbed one of the girls. "Oh for crying out loud," I muttered, jumping through the bushes and onto the guy. I knocked him over and he lost his hold on the girl; we both went rolling though the grass. I mangaged to get him pinned down, though he was several pounds heavier than I and a bit taller. I hit him in the face with my right hand, bloodying his nose. "What the-" I cut off the curse that was on my lips, not wanting the kids to start talking like me. "- he-eck do you want?! You've been following me all day! I'm human, if you haven't noticed!"

Whitefire landed on her head, and blacked out. (she is okay!) Flameflower and Nightfire raced towards her: Flameflower looked really angry(her anger is something to be feared) and Nightfire growled, showing large fangs, to big to belong to a kitten. She began to grow bigger, and her roar echoed across the clearing. (she can grow bigger, to take down bigger enemies)

I swear the guy's jaw almost disconnected from the rest of his skull. "You're...human?" he stammered, dumbstruck. I sighed and nodded.
"Yes, you imbecile, I'm human. If you'd been paying attention at all, you would have noticed. If I was a mutator, don't you think I would have used whatever power I had to get away from you? Did you honestly think you could track a mutator as easily as you tracked me?!" This guy was really starting to tick me off. I knew some humans weren't...well, to put it bluntly, they weren't as smart as the rest of the population. Honestly, a child could have told him I was human. By looking at me.
When the cat growled, I turned towards it and my eyebrows went up as it began to morph into something much larger. The girl the hunter had grabbed was unconcious, and the other girl looked pretty darn mad. The hunter stiffened as he noticed the cat growing, and suddenly I almost felt sorry for the guy. (The keyword in that sentence would be 'almost'. He still tried to kill me. Screw him.) I had grown used to seeing weird things happen; he obviously hadn't (Even though he seemed to be one of the 'normal' people that tracked mutants; honestly, you'd think he'd be used to a cat changing into something totally weird).

///You say you don't know...You had a bad day...Poor guy..lol///
Nightfire eyes were on fire from anger. Flameflower looked at her, and walked up and whispered in her ear, "Settle down. This person can handle it. Besides, Whitefire will be fine. She just hit her head. We're pretty tough." Nightfire looked at her, but settled down. She stayed the same size, but the anger in her eyes died.

I turned back to the hunter. I held my fist back, ready to hit the guy again if he tried to get away. My heart was pounding in my chest from the adreniline rush and I was breathing in short gasps. "What were you doing out here?" I asked, glaring at the guy.
His mouth opened as if he was going to answer, but he didn't speak. After a moment he closed his mouth again. I leaned forward, pressing my knees down onto his chest harder. "I believe I asked you a question, traitor," I snarled. Me calling him a traitor seemed to catch him off-guard; apparently he considered me the traitor, not himself.
"I hunt mutants. I bring them back to labs. I was doing my job," He answered. As far as I could tell, he wasn't lying, but he wasn't telling everything he knew, either. Stupid human giving half-truths; it was all I could do to keep myself from hitting him again.
I glanced at Nightfire and Flameflower out of the corner of my eye. "Why don't you two do something productive and get something I can tie this guy up with, huh?" I snapped. I was in no mood for being patient; I rarely was.

Flameflower ran off into the forest, and returned shortly with a very thick and long vine, that should of been to heavy for someone of her size. By that time, Nightfire returned to her regular size, and curled up on Whitefire's chest. Flameflower handed the vine to the person who was holding the hunter, and stayed by the person.

I took the vine from the girl and bound the hunter's wrists and ankles, easily immoblising him. When I finished I knelt next to him, one knee in the dirt. "Hm... What should we do with him?" I asked, a thousand possibilities racing through my mind. None of them were too plesant; my favorite was leaving him out here without telling anyone; he'd starve to death of die of dehydration before anyone found him.
I kept me ice-blue eyes on the hunter while I waited for a response from the girl. I wanted to see if the other one was concious yet, but I didn't dare turn away from the man that had tried to kill us all; that would just make me the biggest fool in history. I looked down the length of his body, instantly finding what I assumed he had. Hidden weapons. I pulled the knife from a strap on his calf and threw it into a tree behind me. I heard it hit and break through the bark; it was probably wedged into the tree up to the handle of the knife.

Nightfire began licking Whitefire's face, and having her wake up. "What happened?" Whitefire asked. "You were knocked out," Nightfire replied. She watched as Whitefire got up, wincing at the pain in her head.

(( -.- Maybe I'll burn you a copy of them or something. Also, it's 'evolution'. Put stuff [requests] like that in a PM to me, not in the thread we're RPing in. ))
[Cujo:]
I thought for a moment, deciding I was tired of sitting on the guy and holding him in place. I grabbed his shoulder, pressing down on his pressure point; the move had the desired effect: he passed out. I stood up and walked over to the girls, sure that the guy wouldn't be going anywhere any time soon.
"So," I said, "what are you two doing out here alone? Well, I guess there's three of you, counting the cat." I looked down at it; I'd never really had a fondness for the creatures; they were to independent and snobby.
